Westport bike, ready for riding?
The Westport bike arrived in a hugh box. So hugh I couldn't get it into my apartment without first opening the box and taking out each of the parts individually. After somewhat of a struggle getting the pieces together, I was ready to ride! Only to find that the tires needed inflating. As I tirelessly (no pun intended) tried to pump them up with a manual tire pump which took all of my energy, I found that the other two tires also needed inflated. The weather is beginning to turn cold and it looks like I will not be able to find out whether the tires have something wrong with them or that I just didn't inflate them enough. Anyway, it sounds like it would be great fun for someone who does not know how to ride a two wheel bike and doesn't have time to learn. I will take it riding when the weather gets better.

Adult Three Wheel Bike
It is so great to be able to ride without worrying about falling over. Even though I had ridden two wheelers most of my life - getting older and not getting any taller - LOL - there was a concern about falling. When ever I stopped with a regular two wheel bike, my feet were too short to safely reach the ground fast enough to stop safely and this bike takes away those concerns. Don't want to risk a fall at this age - if you break something it can seriously affect your quality of life !!

I LOVE THIS BIKE
In August of 2007, I purchased a beautiful 26 inch ladies beach cruiser (2 wheeler). To my dismay, I found I was very uncomfortable riding it as I felt my balance was not what it should have been. I had problems, and probably rode the bike 5 times max in the last year. Then I happened to see this trike, ordered it, and have ridden it every day since it was delivered. At first I ran off the path a few times, but quickly learned to keep those back wheels level. Putting it together was relatively easy as my husband did not complain a lot while assembling it. He also likes being able to make it smaller as he claims the storage space in the garage is his. I call this my "grandma bike", and am very happy that I got it.

On the go again
The Westport bike has given me back some freedom and a great way to exercise while enjoying the out of doors and doing errands at the same time! It arrived partially assembled, and the rest was relatively easy for two older women with no mechanical ability. My 3 fifth grade grandchildren also think it's the coolest thing going and ride it and each other around for hours! The only draw back I've found is getting used to a handle brake and having only one gear. That said, having only one gear makes me work harder or find less hilly routes home with packages.

AWESOME!!
I cannot, what so ever, put anything together. I had a friend come over that likes to tinker, and it took us a few hours to put it together. The instructions are a little weird but I'm terrible at this sort of thing! Also, I LOVE TO RIDE IT. It is amazing, and the basket is so great! It doesn't go very fast because it doesn't have gears, but that just means you work a little harder to get going and I'd prefer that. Also, if any of you live in the city or in a tight space THIS PRODUCT IS PERFECT. You can take bike lanes with ease, it has a super sharp turning radius and is light. I am not strong, and I didn't have a problem getting this through pathways, acrossed streets and along trails. It fits on the sidewalk with TONS of room!!! I would recommend this for anyone looking to save gas in an urban area without tons and tons of hills (unless you want awesome glutes! HAHA!). Fits great in my studio too. It folds in half to the side if anyone was wondering, (I know I was!) YOU'LL LOVE IT!
